Barbican's Denton Shedden scored a brace

cAVALIER MARCH ON WITH 3-1 WIN OVER SANTOS 22.8.2011 – Cavalier came from behind to score a text-book 3-1 win over Santos at Bell Chung Oval on Sunday in round 10 of the JNBS Masters League.

Winston Pusey put Santos ahead 1-0 in the 11th minute, but versatile midfielder David Laylor registered a first-half brace with George Smith scoring the other for the winners in the 76th minute.

Brown's Town has made a bold move for a place in the quarter-finals under manager Carl Russell by winning 3 of their last 4 games.

The win kept Cavalier in pole position of "the group of death" (zone B) with 21 points, and firmly on course for a place in the JNBS Mid-season final later this month.

In the Bell Chung oval opener, Boys' Town edged Eastern 1-0 on a Winston Murray goal in the 63rd minute.

Nick Ziadie's 11th minute strike gave Real Mona a short lived 1-0 lead as Donovan Green leveled the score 1-1 in the 13th minute. Ricardo Douglas gave the hosts the game winner in the 34th minute to push Brown's Town into 3rd place in the well contested zone B.
